Archon Day 2018
Overview
You're invited to Archon Day 2018! The Archon Users Collaborative will be meeting at Denison University on June 29, 2018. We will be discussing a number of topics in order to continue to anticipate users' needs and drive some forward movement on the future of Archon. All Archon users and interested parties are welcome to attend. Archon Day will be formatted as an unconference and the topics for discussion will be broadly formulated by the participants who are attending. As program updates are made, they will be distributed on the blog. If you would like notifications of these updates, please be sure to subscribe by email.
Location
Archon Day will be held at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. The meeting will be located in the Center for Learning and Teaching on Level A in the Library. We will begin at 9 AM and will plan to end at 4:30 PM. The closest airport is the John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH). If you need shuttle service to/from the airport, please email Sasha Griffin by May 1, 2018 at <griffins@denison.edu>. Additional cost may apply for airport shuttle services.Cost

Accommodations
A small block of rooms have been reserved for June 28-30, 2018 at The Buxton Inn, a unique inn located in
downtown Granville, Ohio. The Buxton Inn consists of five historic houses and most importantly, the bathroom toiletries are by the brand Archive Essential! It was meant to be. :)

The special event rate is $125.00/night, plus tax. To reserve a room, please visit www.buxtoninn.com and use Promo/Room Block "ArchonDay2018" (note: uppercase A, uppercase D, and no spaces). Important: you must reserve and pay for your room on your own. Please reserve by May 1st, 2018.
There are other options in the area for accommodations, if you would prefer. In Granville there is the Granville Inn and a few Bed and Breakfast/Guest House type options that you can find on Air B&B. In the surrounding area, there are many hotels. Here are some nearby options if you don't mind driving on to campus for our meeting: Courtyard by Marriott in Newark (5 miles away), Cherry Valley Lodge in Newark (5 miles away), Doubletree by Hilton (10 mi away), Courtyard by Marriott in New Albany and Hampton Inn and Suites in New Albany (both 15 miles away).
Food
A continental breakfast is free if you book at the Buxton Inn. We will be bringing in City BBQ for lunch at the cost of $15.00/person. The menu will included pulled chicken, beef brisket, mac & cheese, green beans and bacon, salad, cornbread, and peach cobbler. There is a vending machine in the library available for drinks.
